Why not join me on Sunday 12th December at RSPB Bowling Green Exe Estuary for the first of a series of photography workshops: An Introduction to Digital Wildlife Photography. Friendly and jargon-free. The aim of these course is to help budding wildlife photographers improve their camera skills and to get the images they want. You’ll have exclusive use of the Bowling Green Hide and Lookout for the duration of the course at high tide when the wonderful birds of the Exe Estuary come up to ‘roost’ just outside the hide waiting for the tide to turn. The Exe estuary can host up to 40,000 birds/waders at the peak of the winter season. Outside the Hide and Lookout a huge variety of winter visitors arrive including Avocets, Redshanks, Blacktailed Godwit, Wigeon, Teal, little grebes, mute swans and a variety of ducks etc.
All proceeds from the workshops will go directly to the RSPB to help continue their vital work. Places are limited to six participants to facilitate the best learning ratio.
