Meter The Light 
Having done this course last year I can thoroughly recommend it. As a pure amateur that had been using a DSLR for about 8 years previously Steve learned me so much about metering, exposure and light in one lesson I ever thought was possible. I went onto do all 3 of his courses. It not often you can get tips from a true professional. In an excellent location at Bowling Green March RSPB, can thoroughly recommend this if you are starting out in nature photography.
