Digital Photography Workshops for the RSPB

This is going to be a rather brief post but I just wanted to thank all the participants who attended the Digital Wildlife Photography Workshops at RSPB Bowling Green, Exe Estuary over the past few months.

Yesterday was the last of the first series of three workshops that ran from December to February BUT the good news is that the workshops will be repeated starting in MAY. There were quite a few folk who couldn’t get on some of the workshops because of the limited places available. So it’s important to book early – link below.

The reason we limit places to only six participants is that it enables a more personal, small group approach and more space in the hide: for which we have exclusive use. We also have exclusive use of the Lookout (attached to the hide) for the theory part of the workshop in a relaxed atmosphere with complimentary tea/coffee.

To see participants experience ‘light bulb’ moments and watch their photography improve is, for me, what it’s all about. Thanks to everyone👍🏻

The next series of workshops start on 8th May. Please book early to secure your place.

The booking link is: https://events.rspb.org.uk/events/12291

The complete series of workshops can be accessed on the same page by clicking on ‘Events’ and then ‘South West’

  2. Hi Steve, can I just thank you for the course on which I attended on Sunday 4th Sept. It was well worth the time and money for beginners. Although as you found out, I was not quite a beginner, but was looking to gather a good basic foundation from which to hopefully improve my photography from. You certainly gave me some great advice and tips which I will continue to work upon. I will see you soon for the next course. David.
